Practical Pre-School 2007 Silver Award citation

The stories were tested with the additional Polish component. Testers enjoyed the various activities, stories and graphics within the program. The stories additionally gave Polish-speaking children a chance to hear their mother tongue within the nursery environment and were very well received. One tester said, 'As a school we are presently looking at ways we can represent our children's first language and culture, so were were very pleased to trial these stories.'

Another tester commented, 'The cross-curricular opportunities are good for the child's self-esteem.'
