Introduction
I Can Spell PLUS includes six different activities to stimulate and motivate your pupils.
This manual has two main sections:
The Quick Start section will guide you through the activities themselves:
Balloons: Word creation by matching word segments
The Race: Sequential spelling from keyboard or on-screen alphabet list
Ladders: Sequential spelling by collecting letters from an on-screen array
Scramble: Non-sequential spelling by rearranging letters
Corrections: Checking for misspellings
Magnet: Recognising shorter words within other, longer words
The Editor gives teachers control over all aspects of the program:
The Lists editor lets you create and modify the word lists
The Game settings section will show you how to set up the different activities and build Game sets
The Style settings part demonstrates how to make presets with differing interface settings for use by students with particular needs
