I've used I Can Spell extensively in my consultant teacher role. It has proved extremely valuable in the assessment and support of children with special educational needs and I have recommended it in INSET and advice to teachers. I especially like the configurability which means it can be used with a wide variety of abilities. Pupils, I've noticed, are very attracted to it and sometimes have to be told to go out and play!

I Can Spell really inspires the children with its simple format and exciting colours. The sound used is fun for staff and pupils, and staff of all ages and backgrounds report that it is easy to use.

Teachers have noticed the improvement in spelling lower down the school.

We are also impressed with the different strategies it uses to help the children – something other than look-cover-write-check!
